Ayurveda ("wisdom for life") is India's unique health science for understanding and managing wellness in the body, mind and spirit. It is an integral sister science to yoga. Ayurveda emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual body-mind in addressing health and wellness and empowers everyone to take responsibility for their own well-being.
When the seasons change, it’s time to make some shifts in our daily self-care practices, and especially our diets. An important aspect of Ayurveda involves the concept of a Ritucharya, or seasonal routine. It’s especially important to increase our self-care practices when the Sun travels through Libra, his sign of debilitation.
In this workshop you will:
*Get a basic introduction to Ayurveda and the concept of doshas
*Learn simple routines and self-care practices to help you stay balanced during Fall & Winter
